A day in Birmingham

Having waited for the Birmingham road tunnel repairs to be completed, I decided a day in Birmingham would be a good idea and I set out for the city reasonably early getting to my first call on Just for You of Halesowen soon after 11. However by then Sandy was busy and as it turned out was busy on the two subsequent occasions I rang them later in the day.

So I headed on to my next call on Penny's Tonal Therapy of Selly Oak. I knew Diane the boss, was not around, but had been told by her, when I had rung the previous day, that I should see her assisitant Jill. Jill however had not been made aware of my impending visit and so she rang Diane to find out what she was supposed to do. She was supposed to find out what I was offering and then refer to Diane. So I explained what was happening and it was agreed I would go and see them the following Tuesday.

So with that I now headed over to the Coventry Road. I popped into the sex shop there and sold them a handful of books and maps, before venturing on to Stars.Joy was there and happy to take me up on my offer of advertising, but could only pay by credit card.
