It had been some time since I had visited London, so I decided to have a day on the road going down to London to both top up the sex shops I supply and make a few interesting calls. I rang the shops I normally supply up front, but discovered to my surprise that Harmony had forsaken their Walker's Court location and were now located on the corner of Old Compton St. and Charing Cross Rd. occupying the premises of the former Lovejoys. Apparently they are not selling that many books there these days, so we left it that I would deliver a few books for them to try out and we would then see how they go. Also I contacted Simply Pleasure in Watford and the Barnet Bastille, a dungeon in an industrial unit in the town and Milton Keynes lone sex shop, where I leave books on sale or return and my most interesting callmof the day, Helen of Milton Keynes, one of the most often favourably reviewed ladies in the entire country, who had contacted me by e-mail a few months back, suggesting I call on her and that we get a bit more intimately acquainted.
So I headed off at 8.30 getting to Milton Keynes around 10.45, I parked as she suggested in the Sainsbury's car park underneath their store in Central Milton Keynes and then walked the few hundred yards to her block of modern flats. Contacting her by intercom, I was let in and entertained in as magnificent a manner as I could have hoped for. She really pulls out all the stops to please and apparently these days is mixing her conventional services with a lot of corrective work, which has seen her visiting a fair number of dungeons around the country, even including the Glasgow Dungeon. Her flat is a typical luxury newly built flat, though she does not live in it herself. In fact she does not even live in Milton Keynes, but commutes in to work. I was also introduced to a colleague of hers, Chloe, who also works at her flat from time to time. I left the flat somewhat exhausted, but also totally satisfied.
I now popped into Foxy Lady in Fenny Stratford, Milton Keynes lone indie sex shop, where I topped up their range of books, before heading out on to the M1 and on down to Watford, where after entering the town by a different route I found my way to Simply Pleasure there, which I topped up with books.
From here I headed off via Bushey to Barnet and the Barnet Bastille, run by an agreeable character by the name of Geoff. he was having a slack day, with no ladies having any appopintments at his dungeon, which whilst not the roomiest establishment I have checked out, certainly as some unusual features, running from a bed with a rack at one end and stocks at the other to a very distinctive wheel and even a coffin where when it moves it moves to the sound of a crematorium!
I now popped into the centre of London and visited both the Soho Original Bookshop and the new Harmony store on the corner of Old Compton St. and Charing Cross Rd. and left them some books to try out, the shop looking very different from what it had been like in its Walker's Court days. I had hoped to see a lady based in the Paddington area, but she was suddenly too busy to see me, so with that I headed back out of London on to the M40 and home getting back at a reasonable time.
