I had left it a bit long to get down to the Brighton area to put my new books into the sex shops there, but finally got around to it this week. Ringing up in advance I found the shop Secret Desires, that I had supplied located bizarrely on the Castleham Industrial estate in St. Leonards had closed, but its sister shop in Eastbourne was still going strong. so what with topping up shops in Swindon and Bournemouth, I had enough sales lined up to pay for the diesel and hotel bill, though it is getting increasingly tough with more and more shops closing down.

My first call was on the Exchange Bookshop in Swindon and as it turned out this was going to be my penultimate visit here, the old codger running it having at long last decided to retire, when his lease runs out in March next year. I now found my way to Swindon Massage's new location, a peculiarly located 50's terraced house just off Kinghill Rd., only to find no one in. So I headed over to the local ASDA to fill up with diesel and get some food and on my return to the car tried Jody again and found she was now in. As I parked the car I got a call out of the blue from Sam of York, the Sam of the formerly famous twosome, Sam & Libby. It turns out, she is no longer working and wanted me to no longer list her. No problem, though I was puzzled as why I would be listing her, having recently revised Yorkshire, where I had obviously found she was apparently still entertaining. When I got back home, I checked up and found she was still listed on the internet, so when I rung her to tell her I was no longer listing her, I pointed out her presence elsewhere, of which she was not aware. She thanked me.

When I visited Jody's, she was just getting into the swing of working from these new premises and like many people in the industry, finding life tough, with not as much business as she would hope for. So I had no luck in selling her an enhanced entry and with that I headed off towards Bournemouth, where I simply topped up the two Simply Pleasure shops, both bizarrely located in Holdenhurst Rd.

I now set out towards Brighton and Hove and made one final call that day, on Miss Velour, a deliciously exotic and somewhat erotic dominatrix based at very roomy premises in Hove.

We had a long and fascinating chat about the corrective services industry and I was informed by Miss Velour about new legislation designed to make life even more difficult for practioners in this field. When will politicians back off?

From here I set off towards Eastbourne via Lewes and got to the Travelodge there in reasonable time. In my room, I made the mistake of turning the heating up too high and did not get a particularly reasonable night's rest, but once I finally woke up I got hold of the day's Times and headed over to Eastbourne's ASDA to have some breakfast and get some food. I then set out to visit the town's lone independent sex shop, Secret Desires, where I found Vinnie, with whom I had dealt previously in St. Leonards.I sold him a reasonable selection of books and then headed back to Brighton. After ringing around the three dommes, I was planning on seeing, it was clear I was not going to be able to see Goddess Salvia, but I would be able to see my old friend, Mistress Dometriaand found my way over to her dungeon, parked my car on the sea front and walked up to see her. I was let in by a male friend of hers, the Mistress being on her way and was shown around, the dungeon having had an impressive makeover, since my last call. I used the time to take a load of photos of the working areas, as they now were and then Mistress Dometria turned up herself and we had a long and productive chat.

On leaving her, I got back to where I had parked the car, made a quick u-turn and headed back along the front to Marine Parade and eventually Mistress Mia Harrington's working studio, which was more impressive than I had anticipated. We had a long and fascinating chat, Mia even showed me an article that had been written about her in one of the nation's leading papers, I think it was the Sun. Looking on line it is clear how much the dommes in this city work with one another, despite all having their own premises.

From here I headed off to Hove, where I called in on Chris at Taboo in Blatchingdon Rd. and having relieved him of a reasonable sum for a reasonable number of books, I headed off on to the A27 and then eventually the M27 and M3, where I turned off into Winchester to see Frank, a former, now retited, sex shop owner, who had tried selling my books at various newsagents in and around Hampshire, without much success. I relieved him of the books I had left him with and then headed home, getting back around 9pm.
