A day visiting Scunthorpe, Grimsby & Hull

In the run up to producing my new comprehensive guidebook to all aspects of adult services in the North of England, I still needed to make a few journeys around the area and one area I needed to visit was Humberside, indeed both sides of the Humber.

I kicked off the day in Scunthorpe, which I got to about 11a.m. Azure is the leading establishment in the town, and it operates from a discreet terraced house in the town centre. I turned up and knocked on the front door, finding it locked to my surprise, but no one answered, so I went back to my car and rang them. They were in now, so I went back to the front door, but still had no luck, so I rang them again and discovered the premises now are only accessible from the rear. So I walked around and was warmly welcomed, though they were short of funds and so I agreed to return later.

With nowhere else to visit in the town, I headed on to Grimsby, where I had four potential calls, but as usual two did not materialise. The one that really mattered did however and I soon got to the rear entrance of Cleo's, which had been known as Cleopatra's when it first opened, but which had opened and closed a number of times with the odd name change, since the days when Julian rang things here, before he moved on to A1 in Bradford.

The new proprietor has already got the premises looking shipshape again and they have interesting plans for a dungeon with extensive facilities in their cellar. I also was given info on a new sister parlour that he plans on opening shortly in Hull.

I was also informed of a new private flat that has recently opened in Scunthorpe and one where Alex, the receptionist at Cleo's, also worked certain days. Alex rang her friend and colleague, Gabrielle, who had met me before at Executive Suite in Hull. I talked to her and agreed to pop over and see her after finishing in Grimsby.

I had hoped to go and see both Eva in Grimsby, a Hungarian redhead who had entertained me many years ago, when she worked under Julian at Cleopatra's and Club 21, where I hoped to meet up with Nicky, but Eva was busy and Nicky as elusive as ever. So in the slight hope that I might meet up with Deborah at Nicole's, now renamed Playgirls, the longest continually running parlour in the town, I headed down Cleethorpe Road to it.

Fate smiled on me for a change and I had a very extensive and friendly chat with Deborah who happened to be there this time. Having then arranged to call back later to see Eva, I headed off towards Scunthorpe.

I got to the flat in good time and had a very friendly chat with Gabrielle, who remembered me from a visit I had paid to the Executive Suite in Hull some years ago. I was surprised that I did not recognise her, since she had a delightful body. I had hoped to meet up again with Chantelle of Brough, but I was not going to be able to get over to Brough, before she headed off to her principle job and so I headed over the Humber and on to visit Club V.I.P.

There I met up with my old friend Roly, who at one time, ran a large number of parlours on both sides of the Pennines, in conjunction with his partner Anne, who still runs half of them, the half in Lancashire, mainly in and around Preston. He now just runs this discreet parlour in Hull, but it is spacious and I had a very enjoyable time first taking some photos of and then being entertained by two of his beauties, Kenzi, a very slim leggy brunette and Layla, a rather more curvy brunette. They worked very well together and I left, after successfuly concluding my business, well satisfied.

I then popped over to the city's Simply Pleasure sex shop and dropped off a few of my latest book, before returning to the west side of the city and the Executive Suite in Anlaby Road, where I hoped to meet up with my old friend Jane, who had featured so prominently with me in the BBC documentary "Streets of Vice". Unfortunately, she was not there and I had a similar lack of luck in seeing Chrys of Crystals Escorts and Rachael, one of Hull's most notable individual working ladies.

I now headed back over the Humber and had meant to revisit Grimsby, but apart from possibly taking a photo at Playgirls, no one was available to see me, so I popped in to see Azure in Scunthorpe, where I now made a sale and then got back on to the road and got home soon after 7.30.
