I had rung around extensively in West Yorkshire concentrating on the few existing massage parlours and ended up,having lined up calls on three parlours and various possible individual aldies, mainly escorts. My first call was going to be on Ruby's, the latest name for Keighley's lone parlour and I decided to get there I would head straight up the M6 until I almost got to Preston, whereupon I would take the M65 all the way to Colne and then do the last few miles from Colne to Keighley on the A roads up there. The first part of the journey went smoothly, though one was not able to get much of a move on for those last few miles.Nevertheless I got to Keighley without too much trouble and proceeded into Ruby's without further ado. No sooner had I arrived than 3 individual clients turned up all able to select a suitable lady, but when the fourth turned up he had to wait and having a chat with him, while the receptionist made sure all the clients were being taken care of, it turned out he was a former client of mine, who even remembered I was based in Stone in Staffordshire.

I unfortunately was not able to make a sale for the usual reasons, the lady I saw simply being the manageress, rather than the owner of the parlour, so after leaving I popped into a nearby ASDA and got myself some food for the day, before heading into Bradford. Somehow I found myself coming into Bradford down Manningham Lane, where the town's lone independent sex shop, curiously occupying the adjoining premises to the town's "Private Shop" was located. As I approached, I realised it was closed and not just for the day. I stopped and popped into the Private Shop next door, identified myself and learnt they had only given up the ghost a few weeks before my visit. The closure everywhere in Britain of more and more independent sex shops continues apace. And not because councils put their put foot down everywhere, but simply because of the recession and the internet supplanting their market, as it did with record shops.
I now found my way over to Leeds Rd., where the city's lone surviving parlour is located. At one time Leeds Rd. had three parlours and there were plenty of others in the city. Now it is the only one surviving. With so few parlours now in either Leeds or Bradford, as opposed to Sheffield, where there are so many, and parlours there are closing because they are simply not economic, all there needs to happen is for some nutter, like the Yorkshire Ripper or the Crossbow Cannibal to emerge on the scene and the police will wonder why the closed so many of the two cities' parlours down.
I had an amiable conversation with Joanne, who runs Cosmopolitan and she expressed a great interest in trying out a featured entry on my website, but she needed to discuss it with the parlour owners and I indicated I was happy to wait until she had discussed the matter with them.

I now set off towards Huddersfield, heading for John's books on Manchester Rd. This unusual sex shop set back from the road on its own, now hardly sells any books, mainly selling DVDs and had only sold the odd book of mine, so I relieved them of the money for those they had sold and then headed on to Dewsbury, where I was due to see Brian at Flair.
Dewsbury had long had a second parlour in the unusually located Sunshine Supertan and a third parlour had opened in luxurious premises, rather controversially located near the town hall. The Office boasted the noted independent Cathy, who has the chutzpah and the top class reputation to call herself "Cathy the Famous One" and having experienced a session with her myself, I can attest that that moniker is not inappropriate. But for the time being it seems to be more of less closed for most if not all of the time, though their website still operates. Brian certainly seems to have some top class ladies, who both look good and have had some great reviews and he undoubtedly, despite Cathy, runs the top parlour in Dewsbury currently.
I had a long and enjoyable conversation with Brian, who turned out to be the first person, whom I had met, who had voted out in the recent referendum, just for the hell of it, really expecting the opposite result to happen and who was surprised when he saw the result the following morning. And he decided to have another go at getting his establishment featured.
I then headed off towards Wakefield in the hope of meeting up with a lady, who had expressed an interest in our meeting, but she was not available and so I headed home getting back in reasonable time.
