Having rung around and lined up a number of calls for the day, I set out soon after nine, getting to my first call on my old friend Gia of Derby around 10am. She now entertains from a quite luxurious flat just off the inner ring road in the city and after finally getting through to her by means of her intercom gained access to the lift up to her flat. She used to entertain along with several other ladies as part of an outfit calling itself "Lushus ladies", but now works independently and from a more upmarket flat. We had an interesting chat about how she was doing and in particular had a very interesting conversation about one client who was able to help her out when she was faced with problems from the bank with whom she had a mortgage. In these recession hit times, the banks seems to take a very cavalier attitude towards their clients but at least Gia has survived their frankly pretty awful behaviour. I was also introduced to her partner, whom, it turns out, had done the rounds of Manchester's parlours in the late nineties, flogging bits and pieces to the ladies and who obviously as a consequence came to know his way around them as well as I did in my time. She decided to proceed with an enhanced entry on my site and then I took my leave of her.

I now headed over to Asda just off the A52 in Spondon and did a bit of ringing around hoping to line up a few more calls worth visiting before my next definite call on Bubbles in Nottingham. From one parlour, Fantasy in South Normanton, I got no answer, from another, Pharoahs in Ilkeston, when I got through to the boss, it was clear they were interested but having a tough time, particularly as they had had a fire, which had gutted the place and were still recovering from that. However with a bit of time on my hands before I could usefully call on Bubbles to see Georgie, I thought it might be worth trying Lisa at Director's Lodge in Pinxton. I had been warned that she had a lot of customers lined up for the day, and when I got there another one had turned up early and she was already busy and had plenty more on the way. I left it that I would call again another day.

So I now headed off to Nottingham and after topping up Delta in Hyson Green with a few more books, I headed into the city to see Georgie. It turns out despite the recession, James and Georgie are going to open a third parlour in the Sherwood area to the north of the city, taking over the premises of the former Traquility Health Spa. Given their track record, it will probably be a success. I sold Georgie on the idea of an enhanced entry and then set off to Leicester.

Here I popped into Simply Pleasure and topped them up with books, before heading out of the city and down the M1 to Northampton. Here I visited probably the most luxurious and certainly one of the longest established Thai parlours in the country, Thai Palace, which is run by a mature but very atractive Thai lady by the name of Tipi. We quickly concluded our business and then I got back into my car and headed back on to the motorway network and got back home in reasonable time.
