A trip over to East Anglia and back
Despite my back still not being 100 per cent, I needed to get my new parlour guide into a number of shops particularly in East Anglia and the East Midlands, so I set off around 9.30 getting to my first call in Nottingham soon after they opened around 11.30.
I then proceeded to go on a long journey that involved me visiting sex shops in Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester, Peterborough, King's Lynn, Thetford, Bury St. Edmunds and finally Haverhill, before I headed home.
It did not do my back any good and apart from briefly calling in at Valentines in Peterborough in the vain hope that they might have been interested in advertising, it was a pretty routine journey.
The one stop that might have been interesting was the last town I visited, Haverhill, where I first sampled the delights of Maria Valentine, a delightfully energetic working lady, now entertaining from Cambridge.

Around Christmas time I had been contacted by a gentleman based in the town, who had a lady working from his property, for whom he acted as a sort of landlord/butler! And he had invited me to call in and sample her delights. Unfortunately for me and him, she had purloined about ten grand's worth of his late wife's jewelry and apparently now the lady whose services I might have enjoyed is otherwise occupied at her Majesty's pleasure for the next three years.
Such is life! You win some, you lose some and with my back in its current state, I doubt I could have done her full justice any way.
