Setting out reasonably early I got through the bottleneck that is so often the problem with the M6 and M5 near Birmingham without any trouble and got down to my first call on Melissa's in Kingswood just after 11, having filled up with diesel en route at an Asda on the way down. Ironically, becasue of a jam at the top end of the M5 and around its junction with the M6, I decided to head home via Kidderminster and Wolverhampton, a route that gave me no problems.
