A trip down to London taking in Bedfordshire

Periodically I have to go down to London. It is not the easiest of cities to negotiate oneself around, but having done it for as long as I have now, it comes fairly easily, though what with watching out for traffic wardens, paying the congestion charge and getting regularly caught up in traffic jams, it can be a pain.

As usual I had lined up a number of calls for the two days, my first being at 2p.m. in St. John's Wood. So setting out at 9a.m., I reckoned I could call on a few people in Luton on the way down. The people running both the private flats I planned on visiting were however not available, but I did manage to leave a few of my new book at the town's leading indie sex shop.
