With my three new books having arrived and having despatched all the orders I had had through the post, I decided I neede to get the books out in as many sex shops as I could and the obvious place to start was in Birmingham and the Black Country, an area with still a fair number of sex shops. And along the way I decided to visit a dominatrix, who was particularly keen to see me. Having rung around the day before I was happy to find only one shop was not worth visitng, the last one in Stafford being about to close, when its lease runs out towards the end of the year. Consequently they are not buying any new stock and Stafford, which had boasted two shops at one time, will now boast none.

So, I proceeded to visit the shops in Cannock and Walsall, neither of which had moved many and then I moved on to Wolverhampton and Bilston. Adult Pleasure Zone had moved a fair number of books, but no one else and Foxy Lady was especially disappointing. Apparently the Sunday Mercury had put the wind up them with a particularly revealing article and they had decided for the sake of a quiet life to ease off a bit. Let's hope they spring back to life sooner rather than later.

My next call was on Miss Erika, a domme based on the Willenhall side of Wolverhampton, who had been indicating she wanted to see me for some time. After stopping briefly in West Bromwich and visiting the Simply Pleasure there I headed into Birmingham topping up six more shops, before I made my last call of the day on an interesting swinging club come parlour, that Lindsey of the Garden of eden had taken over. The Tudor Lounge occupies a period building, it dates from 1601, making it one of the oldest buildings in Birmingham and has plenty of facilities for swinging as well as a couple of ladies available to entertain visitiors during the day. Unfortunately Lindsey was not around and the gentleman there, whilst he showed me around was not interested in introducing me to the ladies. Ah well, you win some you lose some and with that I headed home.
