A brief visit to Swindon and then the rest of the day spent in Gloucestershire

I had arranged to pop into the Exchange Bookshop in Swindon, to give them some new parlour guides and so I headed down to Swindon, going by a different sort of route going across country via the Cotswolds taking in Studley, Stow on the Wold, Burford and Cricklade, which certainly made a change from my normal boring motorway journeys.

Having topped up the shop, I headed back out of Swindon towards Cirencester and then Stroud, where I popped in on Laura, who was looking a lot more cheerful than she was the last time I had called in to see her.

We had a successful conversation and then I headed over to Gloucester, where my sole call was on Sarah Jane at her flat not far from the Docks, where, so many ladies seem to have flats. I now tried Louise on her mobile and she assured me she would be in Cheltenham soon. So I headed off there myself and got to the old car park where I had parked the last time I visited it only to then find they had moved, though when I rang them they had not moved that far. So I set off on foot and soon realised I was getting nowhere fast and so rang them again, eventually ascertaining where they had moved to and got there about twenty minutes later than I should have only to discover, Louise had been and gone ten minutes earlier because of some emergency phonecall she had received. So I explained my new advertising offer to the receptionist there. Apparently the two ladies working there that day were considering jumping on me and one of them, Sophie, who unfortunately was soon busy with another customer who arrived just after me, certainly looked delightful and being jumped on by her would, I am sure, have been very enjoyable.

Meanwhile while I had been walking over to see Louise and friends I had had a text from Ruth, but on leaving now, all I got when I rang was the opportunity to leave another message. No doubt I will catch her some day.
