Having greeted my son on his return from an eighteen month trip around the world, taking in Pakistan, Thailand, New Zealand and Honduras, as well as brief stops in both the United States and Australia, I did not get out at all last week and with a four day trip up to Scotland booked for next week, I decided on just two days travelling not that far this week and decided on the East Midlands, kicking off with a day spent in Derby and Nottingham.

My first call was on Bubbles Spa, a delightful establishment located directly opposite Derby's Midland Station and while one does not get as extensive a variety of services here as at most establishments, I have always found it a very welcoming parlour. I had thought I would be seeing both Lisa and Lindsey, but Lindsey seems to spend most of her time these days in Spain. I made a successful sale and Janine then very kindly offered to show me how well both she and a friend could treat me themselves, an appointment I am looking forward to.
